‘Miss Rodeo’ 20-Year-Old Cowgirl Influencer Has Died

The rodeo and cowboy world is now mourning the loss of one of their own. It happened quickly and out of the blue, but the effect is the same.

A cowgirl influencer, Valeria Mireles who was also known as ‘Miss Rodeo’ has died at the age of 20. She was a social media influencer who gained a large following for being a cowgirl and her cowgirl lifestyle.

On Instagram, she had almost 28,000 followers and close to 50,000 followers on TikTok. Undoubtedly, Miss Rodeo had a passion for horses, and she shared that love with others.

The last post that she posted on social media was a video of her and a friend dancing. Fans flocked to her social media platform when they heard about the loss, speaking of how it had left him in shock and giving condolences to the family.

Mireles was eight years old when she was introduced to rodeo and was crowned Miss Rodeo Nuevo León 2020-2021 and Miss Rodeo Mexico 2021-2022.

In a statement, the Mexico Rodeo Federation said: “Valeria was more than a rodeo queen; she was an ambassador of cowboy culture, an inspiration to many young women.

“Her smile lit up every arena, and her passion for rodeo was contagious. Although her passing leaves a void, her legacy will live on in our hearts and in the memory of rodeo.”

David González, her uncle, and the former mayor of her hometown expressed his grief on Facebook. He said: “Niece Ana Valeria Mireles Villarreal, you will always live in our hearts. We will miss you very much.”

The influencer passed away after being involved in a car accident in the northeastern state of Nuevo León, Mexico. They have not yet released any further details about her death.

At this time, the parents are asking that their privacy be respected. May they find some peace during this difficult time.
