After his poor first round, Charlie Woods moved up the Junior Invitational leaderboard at Sage Valley, while Kai Trump never had a fighting chance.
Woods and Trump wrapped up the final round of the Sage Valley Junior Invitational on Saturday afternoon in South Carolina.
Charlie Woods, the son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, and Kai Trump, the granddaughter of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, have very different outcomes in a tournament billed as “the most prestigious event in junior golf” last week.
The teenage golf star was selected amongst the world’s 24 best young female golfers. However, she struggled massively to keep up with her competition.
The granddaughter of President Trump was sitting in last place among the 24 girl golfers in the tournament after firing a 17-over 89 that included a birdie, seven bogeys, two double bogeys, a triple bogey, and a quadruple bogey.
Trump’s performance at a top junior golf tournament in South Carolina went from bad to worse on Friday. The 17-year-old needed a miracle to bounce back and up the leaderboard, but it never came.
Three rounds later, nothing changed for her as Trump finished right where she started.
With another 17-over closing round, Kai left South Carolina having sat in last place, according to Daily Mail.
Trump finished at a 52-over with rounds of 89-79-83-89.
Woods shot 75 in the final round to finish the tournament 11-over.
Kai Trump’s Mother Was Unavailable To Support Her At Tournament

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter finished last at the Junior Invitational in Sage Valley.
Adding to the pressure was the sudden absence of her most prominent supporter-her mother, Vanessa Trump.
Vanessa has been camera-shy ever since reports surfaced about her secret romance with golf legend Tiger Woods.
She is clearly trying to avoid having to answer any questions about it.
