Mystery Surrounds Woman’s Pre-Crash Tweet About Vikings Rookie Khyree Jackson

A woman, suspected to be familiar with former Oregon defensive back Khyree Jackson, faces allegations connected to a crash that resulted in the deaths of the Minnesota Vikings cornerback and two of his companions. Maryland authorities report that on Friday night, Cori Clingman was operating an Infinity Q5 along Route 4 Pennsylvania Avenue when her vehicle collided with a Dodge Charger carrying Jackson.

The car, driven by Jackson’s former high school teammate, Isaiah Hazel, veered off the road and struck multiple tree stumps before coming to a halt, as detailed by Oregonlive.com. Jackson, Hazel, and another passenger, Anthony Lytton Jr., who was in the back seat, were involved; Jackson and Hazel died at the scene, and Lytton later at the hospital.

Clingman, who was also involved in a subsequent collision with a Chevrolet Impala, emerged unscured, as did her passengers and the driver of the Impala. Police are investigating alcohol as a contributing factor and suspect that Clingman was attempting to change lanes at a high rate of speed at the time of the incident.

Following Jackson’s drafting by the Vikings in April, Clingman’s social media activities, particularly a tweet, have drawn public attention on social media platforms.

The individual who shared the screenshot cautioned that the authenticity of the account being Clingman’s has not been verified. As of Saturday, charges were reportedly forthcoming.
