Christina Formella has become the latest female teacher in the United States who has allegedly slept with an underage student.
The special education teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy at school during a tutoring session.
Formella, a Downers Grove South High School teacher, looked shocked when police stopped her car last month and asked her to “grab whatever she needed.”
It is a bodycam footage that has just been released.
In the video, she and her husband seemed confused and were trying to understand the situation.
The married Illinois special education teacher gasped for air and cried as she was placed in the back of a Downers Grove police car on March 16.
Formella was seen exiting her and her husband’s car as a Downers Grove police officer said, “You can just grab whatever you need.”
“Whatever I need?” she asked, as her husband questioned while in the passenger seat, “Is she going somewhere?”
“Yeah, we’re going to explain everything to you guys,” the officer stated.

“Excuse me, is my husband coming with?” Christina Formella said as she sat in the back of the car, adding, “Am I in trouble? I am so lost right now.”
“Oh my God. What the f–k?” Christina Formella repeated, sobbing into her cuffed hands with her knees pulled up to her chest.
“I feel like I’m gonna throw up,” she said.
The Downers Grove South High School teacher had just been detained over allegations that she molested a 15-year-old student she tutored and coached in soccer two years earlier.

30-year-old Christina Formella is accused of sexually assaulting a boy in a classroom at Downers Grove South High School during a tutoring session before school in December 2023.
The boy’s mother discovered the alleged sexual assault when she looked through a text message thread on her son’s phone.
According to People, court documents show several explicit text messages between Formella and the student that discuss the details of the sexual abuse.
She is charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and criminal sexual assault.
