President Trump’s ex-lawyer, Alina Habba, is certainly loving her new job.
The New Jersey US Attorney was busy this week as a teenage Bloods gang member, a sex offender, and an alleged cop assaulter were all placed under arrest in a multi-agency raid in Newark. It was led by the US Marshals.
One of the bigger arrests was of 18-year-old Zakiyy Houser, who has a history of weapons charges wanted for aggravated assault after an incident in which he allegedly shot two people in Newark last month.
That is just the start of things as his lengthy rap sheet includes conspiracy, possession of burglary tools, criminal trespass, burglary and theft by unlawful taking, per The New York Post.
Habba, formerly White House Counsel, was sworn in by President Trump last Friday to serve as interim US Attorney for the District of New Jersey, which covers the entire state.
Alina Habba made sure she was on hand for his arrest.
Houser was nabbed wearing a blue Amazon vest at the Pennington Court apartments, and Habba was there in her U.S. Marshal’s vest to help police take him in.
“Our US Marshalls and New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force crushed it today. God bless these unsung heroes,” Alina Habba wrote on Instagram.

On X, she further wrote: “What an amazing day with our law enforcement- US Marshalls and NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force. “Hit the streets hard in my great state of NJ from 5 am-12 pm with these unsung heroes. Happy to report a trifecta in arrests today: gangs, pedos, and a subject wanted for an assault on an officer.”

Alina Habba Makes Huge Announcement On Gangs
Interim U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba is not going to tolerate gang violence or any violence.
Habba was on hand for several arrests this week that included a 14-year-old gang member accused of fatally shooting a Newark police detective.
Habba, President Donald Trump’s former attorney, issued a firm warning to violent underage offenders.
“The message is very clear: If you’re a child, I don’t care. If you shoot a cop, you’re getting tried as an adult. I have no tolerance for violence, and we’re gonna clean up New Jersey.”
