The entire country is once again in shock after seeing a helicopter plummet into the Hudson River and kill six people.
The family of five killed in that aircraft this week had been celebrating before the tragedy.
Agustin Escobar, the president of the Spanish branch of the technology company Siemens, his wife, Merce Camprubi Montal, and their three children, ages 4, 5, and 11, were confirmed to be the victims of the crash.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, more information about the tragedy soon emerged.
Two of the passengers on board the helicopter that crashed in the Hudson River were alive when divers pulled them from the water, according to the New York Times. It is unclear which members initially survived before succumbing to their injuries.

Fatal Helicopter Crash Into The Hudson River Likely Caused by Lack of Feul

The witnesses to a fatal helicopter crash in New York City’s Hudson River recalled seeing the chopper break apart in mid-air before nosediving into the river.
All six people on board the aircraft died, including a Spanish family-of-five and the helicopter’s pilot.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but it appears that it will be easier since the pilot likely gave the reason before the tragedy.
The CEO of the tour company that operated the helicopter involved in Thursday’s Hudson River crash in New York City stated that the pilot was experiencing a critical fuel shortage before the incident.
The pilot reportedly called in that he was landing and that he needed fuel. He would not be able to do so.
