Shedeur Sanders was the victim of a brutal prank call during the NFL Draft on Friday night, and now we know exactly who did it.
The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback thought he’d finally received that call from the New Orleans Saints when his phone rang on his live stream on Day 2. He had very little doubt that the person on the other end was who he said he was, given that no one had his number and he had gotten it just for the draft.
“It’s gonna be legendary,” he promised, before being told he’d have to wait a bit longer, and the line went dead.
It turns out it was some college students from Ole Miss. They actually made a video recording of the prank call, which has since gone viral on social media.

Shedeur Sanders Had His Own Theory

Shedeur Sanders didn’t appear upset when he spoke about the call during another live stream with his brother Shilo on Saturday morning.
He said the number had been put into the NFL’s email thread for the draft and that someone’s kid must have gotten access to it, refusing to blame any execs for leaking his digits.
In any case, his draft nightmare is over as the Cleveland Browns took him in the fifth round on Saturday afternoon.
It could be legendary.
