A photo from a fishing trip-turned-drug find is going viral online again, drawing lots of comments from users on social media.

The photo, which shows three kids posing, two of whom are holding large bags containing what’s said to be cocaine, surfaced on X this week following the surfacing of said bags in Florida waters last August.

NBC reported back then that the Florida family found 56 pounds of the illegal white powder while out on a fishing trip. It’s said that they initially thought it was an alligator or a life jacket before the captain realized it was drugs.

The family reported their find to the Coast Guard, but not before taking a photo of their kids posing with it, which you can see right below:

The drugs were estimated at a street value of $625,000.

Social Media Users Couldn’t Believe Anyone Would Have Their Kids Pose With Cocaine

As expected, there was plenty of activity in the comment section.

“Bro in the back seem like he know what to do wit that,” one user laughed.

“Posting your children’s faces holding up bricks is the craziest s**t I’ve seen in 2025,” said another.

“Why would anybody post a picture of their kids holding bricks like that?” someone else wondered.

“Why put bricks of cocaine in your child’s hands and take a picture. weird people. Did they test it too…” a comment read.

“Wouldn’t be taking picks, them boys down south don’t take Ls well… “ someone advised.

There was nothing on who the cocaine may have belonged to, but the eastern Pacific has produced numerous drug busts and other finds, given that it is a popular smuggling route.

A 13-ton haul from a fishing boat in 2001 stands out as one of the biggest busts therein.
