American influencer Natalie Reynolds had a viral moment when she arrived in tears at TikTok offices in Los Angeles, after the platform banned her account.

Reynolds, known for her pranks and challenges on the internet, was sanctioned after sharing a controversial video in which she convinced a homeless woman to jump into Lady Bird Lake, in downtown Austin, Texas, in exchange for 20 dollars. The scene ended in a risky situation, as the woman couldn’t swim and had to be rescued by authorities. Reynolds walked away laughing from the place without paying what she had promised.

After getting her account banned, which had over 2 million followers, the influencer showed up visibly upset at the TikTok offices, begging to have access to her profile again. In one of the videos, she is seen crying inconsolably while talking on the phone. The scene was recorded by passersby and quickly went viral: while some felt pity for her situation, others celebrated the sanction as an act of justice.
