The 36-year-old Kelce made the announcement at an emotional press conference on Monday, closing the book on a Hall of Fame-worthy career.

Notably, Kelce played all his 13 seasons in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, who picked him in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He retires as a Super Bowl winner, six-time All-Pro and future Hall-of-Fame inductee.

There are many Eagles fans who want Kelce to stay in Philadelphia and become the coach of the franchise.

Many supporters had taken to social media to call for Jason to transition into a new role, which could appeal to current head coach Nick Sirianni.

In fact, some fans even pinpointed him as a future head coach himself.
