The NBA season is over, but that hardly means Chiney Ogumikwe shouldn’t go viral.
The former WNBA star, now an analyst at ESPN, has been trending ahead of the weekend, with someone basically making an ad showing her in her tightest dresses and showing off her curves.

Who Is Chiney Ogwumike?

Chiney Ogwumike attended Stanford University from 2010 to 2014, leading the women’s basketball program to three appearances in the Final Four. A three-time WBCA All-American and two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year, she was the first-overall pick in 2014.
The 33-year-old was named WNBA Rookie of the Year and was selected as an All-Star in her first year with the Connecticut Sun.
Chiney reunited with her sister, Nneka Ogwumike, after joining the Los Angeles Sparks in 2019. She remained with the team until 2023, playing a key role while balancing her media career, as she was hired by ESPN in 2018.
While she didn’t officially announce her retirement, she did not play in 2024.
Chiney Ogwumike, who was born in Texas to Nigerian parents, became the first black woman and first WNBA player to host a national radio show when she launched ‘Chiney & Golic Jr.’ in 2020.
She’s a regular contributor on ‘NBA Today,’ ‘WNBA COuntdown,’ and other ESPN programs.
