A new video of Nick Tarnasky’s insane fight on the golf course has surfaced online following the initial trending clip showing the former NHL center beating the crap out of a golfer who stupidly decided to charge at him while drunk.
It’s the middle of 2025, so any single incident should have at least six recordings from six different vantage points. It was only a matter of time before another angle emerged, and (you’re welcome), we have it right here.
So Tarnasky went viral after totally dominating his golf course opponent, hitting him with a series of punches after throwing him into a pond. The most enjoyable part – for social media users, not us… We don’t condone violence – was Nick’s calling out his punches.
It’s not often you hear a guy delivering well-timed onomatopoeia in a fight, so Tarnasky going, “Bang, Bang, Bang!” while administering trios of closed fists turned out to be a huge hit. Just ask the other guy.

As promised, there’s a new video right below showing the altercation from another viewpoint. And while the cameraman gets a big fat zero for keeping his lenses focused on the action, he does capture the method Tarnasky used to fend off the charge and push the golfer into the water.
It also shows the dude getting out and coming for more. It’s like he wanted the best Nick could throw at him without attempting to fight back. Then again, he seemed pretty intoxicated.
Canadian police have opted against preferring charges against the former NHL star as, while they are aware of the footage, no one has come in to make a report.
Nick Tarnasky isn’t quite off the hook, however. The youth hockey team he coaches is now conducting an internal review.
