The mother of the woman who was left in a coma after attending a Dubai ‘porta potty’ party has revealed what happened to her daughter.
Ukrainian OF model, Maria Kovalchuk, was discovered extremely injured on a roadside in Dubai in March 2025 before being rushed to hospital.
The model had been missing for over a week and her family believed she had been kidnapped into s*xual slavery.
She had allegedly attended a hotel in party in Dubai with “two men from the modelling business” before being found abandoned on the side of the road with her limbs and spine broken.
She told her loved ones that she had been invited to a party at a hotel on March 9 but after she did not board her flight from Dubai to Thailand on March 11, they reported her missing.
The 20-year-old had told her friends she planned to go to the party “with two men who introduced themselves as representatives of the modelling business,”.
Now, the model struggles to walk and has to use a wheelchair to move around.
These parties are known for extremely wealthy men offering huge amounts of money or luxury goods to women so they can degrade and ab*se them.
Her mother has now revealed to media the extent of her injuries.
Hovoryt vsia kraina shared that her hair was ‘shorn with a k*ife and scalped.’ She revealed her daughter had a scar from her forehead to the top of her skull.
“If you saw the stitches on the head, how the scalp [had to be] sewn back on.” she shared.
“It looked as if it was done with a knife from the centre of the head all the way down to the eye, and the hair was cut off.” The mother added her daughter has no memory of the attack.
Maria was invited to a party at a five star hotel with the son of a businessman. Many other wealthy men also attended.
Her mother told media that she needed ‘three operations on one leg, three on the other, two on her spine, and one on her shoulder blade’ as a result of the attack.
“One leg has an open fracture with ten centimetres [4 inches] of bone missing.
“She currently has an implant from the hip down. That leg is now paralysed, with no sensation.”
Two Russians had been accused of being involved but they publicly denied any charges – despite attending the three day long party.
Doctors suggested that Maria was beaten, hit by a vehicle and thrown out another.
Her mother suggested that the ‘tearing under both armpits and a broken collarbone’ made it seem like she’d ‘been dragged: “I believe they beat her and threw her from the car.”
Her passport, phone and personal items were taken away at the party. Her mother said ‘they wanted to break her psychologically.’
Dubai police paid for her medical bills after she agreed not to bad mouth them to the press.
Her mother added that the family had received threats if they decided to speak out about what happened: “I got a disappearing message on my phone.
“It read: ‘We’ll find you even in Norway.’”
