Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham left the floor with an injury during Sunday’s game against the Connecticut Sun after going down with an injury that had her screaming in pain.
Cunningham joined the Fever during the offseason and has had an eventful first few months with the team.
The former Phoenix Mercury star has developed a very noticeable bond with Caitlin Clark and Lexie Cunningham, which has led to lots of wholesome content. Ironically enough, she was the only player to joke about the WNBA’s green d*ldo problem before getting drilled by one in the middle of a game.

The sex toy mishap did not cause much of an inconvenience, but she could now miss some time after going down on the back of a collision with an opposition player on Sunday.
The clash left her writhing in pain on the floor. She exited the contest and was ruled out for the remainder. FOX has reported that the injury was to her right knee following an update from the Fever.
You can see the collision in the video below:
Sophie Cunningham played 10 minutes before exiting the game, grabbing one rebound before leaving.
At the time of this writing, the Fever were trailing 56-40 in the third quarter. They hold an 18-16 record and are third in the Eastern Conference.
