Donald Trump shares his candid thoughts after Melania warns Hunter Biden with a $1 billion suit over Epstein allegations

Trump Responds to Melania’s Lawsuit Threat

Donald Trump has shared his candid view after Melania Trump threatened Hunter Biden with a $1 billion lawsuit over his claims linking her to Jeffrey Epstein.

Hunter Biden recently told filmmaker Andrew Callaghan that Epstein, the convicted sex offender who died in August 2019 while awaiting trial, introduced Melania to Donald Trump. He suggested that alleged Epstein files could also “implicate” the former president.

Legal Action from Melania

Following the interview, Melania’s legal team sent Biden a letter, reported by the BBC. Her lawyers demanded he retract the “false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory” claims and issue an apology or face a lawsuit exceeding $1 billion.

Attorney Alejandro Brito, representing Melania, said the statements had caused her “overwhelming financial and reputational harm.” He added: “It is obvious that you published these false and defamatory statements about Mrs. Trump to draw attention to yourself.”

Trump’s Take

During an appearance on The Brian Kilmeade Show, Donald Trump confirmed that he encouraged Melania to proceed with legal action. “I told her, ‘Let’s go ahead and do it,’” he said. “I let her use my lawyers.”

Hunter Biden Pushes Back

Hunter Biden responded defiantly in a follow-up interview with Channel 5. When asked if he would apologize, he said bluntly: “F**k that, that’s not going to happen.”

He continued, “The fact is, these threats of a lawsuit don’t add up to anything other than a distraction. I don’t know how this rises to the level of defamation. They’re trying to scare me with a billion dollars, but it won’t work.”

Facts vs. Claims

There is no verified evidence that Epstein facilitated Melania and Trump’s introduction. The dispute highlights the tension between high-profile lawsuits and public claims, with both sides standing firmly by their positions.
