Jimmer Fredette was banged up but he seemed to find a solution.
Team USA 3×3 dropped to 0-2 in Pool Play at the Paris Olympic Games.
The latest setback took place on Wednesday night against Poland as the USA suffered a wire-to-wire defeat to Poland, 19-17.
The American team led by former BYU star Jimmer Fredette had to play through an injury late in the game.
With less than three minutes left in the game, Fredette went down with a concerning injury on the sideline as a trainer was attending to him. The trainer appeared to be looking at Fredette’s left thigh or groin.
Footage of the moment has since gone viral as it showed the former NBA star taking the female trainer’s hand and placing it even closer to his manhood as he winced in pain.

Jimmer Fredette is a first-time Olympian as he is trying to lead Team USA to a medal. This honor comes 13 years after earning Naismith and CBS Sports Player of the Year honors for the 2010-11 season.
During that year, Fredette helped BYU reach the Sweet 16 for the second consecutive time, and it got him drafted No. 10 overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2011 NBA Draft.
Fredette and Team USA are winless, competing in 3×3 basketball at the 2024 Olympics, which is the first time the team has played in the event since they failed to qualify at the 2020 games in Tokyo.
Jimmer Fredette And USA Men’s 3×3 Basketball Team Has Work To Do
Jimmer Fredette and the U.S. men’s 3×3 basketball team are still seeking out their first Olympic win after falling to Poland, 19-17, on Wednesday.
The team is now 0-2 in pool play, and things might get worse after an apparent injury to Fredette.
Fredette’s U.S. squad has at least five games left at the Olympics — two on Thursday, two on Friday, and one on Saturday.
At the end of the pool round, the eight 3×3 teams will be ranked according to their records, and then the worst will start to get eliminated.
