The love for Syko Stu is evident.
Stuart Smith, the California-based professional wrestler, is “stable but in critical care” after allegedly being brutally beaten by mixed martial artist Raja Jackson at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event on Saturday, brother Andrew Smith wrote in a Facebook post.
He added in a Monday update that Smith “is conscious and does have some recollection of events from the day of the attack.”
By now, almost everyone has seen the harrowing footage that was captured live on the streaming platform Kick over the weekend. In the now-viral video, Raja Jackson — the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson — can be seen hoisting Smith above his head, then slamming him hard onto the mat and unloading more than 20 unanswered punches to the head of the seemingly unconscious Smith before other wrestlers had to intervene.
The family of pro wrestler Syko Stu started a GoFundMe to help with his health-related bills, and the love is coming from just about everywhere.
Stu’s wife, Contessa Patterson, launched a GoFundMe page, which had already raised more than $50,000 within hours to support his treatment and recovery.
As of this writing, Stu now has over $63,000, with one of the donations seemingly coming from WWE legend Chris Jericho, who donated $2,500.

LAPD To Investigate Attack On Syko Stu
A video of Raja Jackson’s attack on Syko went viral on social media, showing Raja violently attacking him with punches and blows to the head.
Raja entered the ring, picked up Syko above his head, and then slammed him hard on the mat. He then punched Syko in the head several times as he lay unconscious.
The incident between Jackson and Smith was preceded by a run-in before the show, where Syko Stu hit Jackson with a beer can.
Raja, who incriminated himself on a live stream, is now likely to face a fight for his life due to his actions.
The disturbing incident is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, as first reported by TMZ.
It is going to be quite hard for Raja to get himself out of this incident as charges should be filed fairly soon.
