Angry Dallas Cowboys fans think the NFL refs are “rigging” tonight’s season opener in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles.

It wouldn’t be a new season without angry fans accusing the NFL refs of favoring one team over the other. And that’s exactly what’s happening in a wild season opener that saw Jalen Carter get ejected before the first play from scrimmage for spitting at Dak Prescott.

Specifically, there was one controversial no-call in the first half, where the Eagles appeared to have gotten away with blatant holding on Cowboys defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku:

Disgruntled Cowboys fans accused the NFL refs of favoring the Eagles tonight.

“They got away with 3 or 4 that drive. Roger getting involved early on this season i see,” a fan wrote.

“I mean we all knew it before the game started, that they love the Eagles,” another said.

“Of course, because the betting services told the officials not to throw a flag. Point blank. And because the officials didn’t call any holding fouls on them, that’s why Saquon got 400 extra yards than he should’ve gotten,” a fan commented.

“They never call holding on the eagles Oline. False starts either smh,” a user said.

“Its clear how the Refs are going,” wrote another.

“And how about this one on the Hurts TD run. No call,” said a fan.

Before the lightning delay in the third quarter, the NFL refs had actually called more penalties on the Eagles (eight for 105 yards) as opposed to only three for 37 yards on the Cowboys, per ESPN.
