Charlie Kirk’s haunting comments on gun violence have gone viral after the activist was shot dead at his own event.
The MAGA activist, 31, was shot dead on Wednesday evening (September 10), at a university campus in event in Utah.
Footage of the brutal attack has circulated on X, formerly Twitter, depicting the moment a loud bang was heard.
Kirk was violently struck in the neck before collapsing in his chair, and blood was seen pouring from the wound.
Just before the shooting, Kirk was taking questions from audience members, when, without knowing, he uttered his final words.
One person in the crowd asked: “Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?”

“Too many,” the activist replied.
In a follow-up question, someone replied: “Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?”
Kirk said: “Counting or not counting gang violence?”
Seconds later, he was fatally shot.
President Trump later confirmed his death on social media.
The statement read: “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.

“He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.
“Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
But his previous comments on gun violence are resurfacing following the shooting.
During an appearance at the Salt Lake City campus of Awaken Church on April 5, 2023, he spoke about the second amendment, which protects the right of the American people to keep and bear arms.
Speaking about gun deaths, Kirk said: “It’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights…that is a prudent deal.”
The manhunt for the shooter is ongoing, U.S. authorities have stated.
FBI Director Kash Patel said: “Our investigation continues, and we will continue to release information in the interest of transparency.”
California Governor Gavin Newsom described the attack as ‘disgusting, vile, and reprehensible.’
