Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was live-streaming when he found out Charlie Kirk died after being shot on Wednesday.
Kirk, a conservative activist and one of Donald Trump’s most outspoken allies, was fatally shot while on a stop at Utah Valley University for his American Comeback Tour. The 31-year-old was hit by a single bullet to the neck while sitting under a tent in the university courtyard.
It’s been reported that the shooter fired from atop a rooftop around 130 meters away and used a high-powered bolt-action rifle.
A suspect is in custody following initial reports of the shooter fleeing into the woods while dressed in black tactical gear. The weapon was recovered first, with authorities beginning a manhunt shortly after.
Two other individuals were detained but have since been released as they are not believed to have any connection to the shooting.
