Sky Harbor ATC Tower in Phoenix had a message for Charlie Kirk and his family after his body landed in Arizona on Thursday.
Kirk, born in Illinois, resided in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife and two young children before his life was tragically cut short during a debate at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
The Turning Point USA founder was sitting under a tent in the schoolyard when he was shot in the neck from over 100 meters away.
Air Traffic Control in Phoenix had a special message for the conservative activist and influencer when Air Force Two flew in with his body.
“Welcome home, Charlie. You didn’t deserve it… May God bless your family,” the controller said after guiding AF2 in.

The FBI Could Be Closing In On Charlie Kirk’s Killer
Meanwhile, the FBI could be closing in on the shooter after kicking off a manhunt. The Bureau postponed a scheduled press conference on Thursday because of the many developments in the case, with officials pursuing multiple leads.
They have since released new, clearer images of a suspect wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt with an American flag and eagle design, a baseball cap, wraparound sunglasses, and a backpack after he was recorded maneuvering through campus stairwells, jumping from the rooftop, and taking off into the woods.
The weapon used in the shooting, a high-powered bolt-action rifle, was retrieved from a wooded area near the university.
The authorities have also recovered a spent shell, a palm print, as well as forearm and footwear impressions.
President Donald Trump, of whom Charlie Kirk was a close ally, was treated to heightened security measures at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night, where it appeared he was booed by fans before YES Network awkwardly cut to commercials.
