One Utah Valley University student has reportedly made claims of spotting a male on or near the roof of the Losee Center, from where Charlie Kirk was shot, twice in the weeks leading up to the assassination.

According to RAWSALERTS, the student said he contacted the FBI, adding that the individual in question looked like the man in the images released by the Bureau.

He also claimed that the man was confronted by a professor.

“The student noted that the man looked strikingly similar to images of the person of interest, and added that a professor had also confronted the individual on the roof,” the account notes.

The post has sparked some debate in the comments, with some accusing the student of lying. One user said they read that the contact with the FBI happened after the shooting and not before.

Kirk was shot while speaking under a tent set up in the school’s courtyard. His wife’s social media post just hours before he was killed suggests she may have had a bad feeling.

The FBI Has Reportedly Received Over 7,000 Tips Since Charlie Kirk Shooting

The Turning Point USA founder’s body was returned to Arizona, where he lived with his family, on Air Force Two late on Thursday.

The FBI has obtained and released video footage showing the male suspect entering the campus, climbing stairwells to reach the rooftop, and later jumping off, running into the nearby woods.

Officials suggest he blended well with the college environment and is believed to be of college age.

Over 7,000 tips have come in via the FBI’s tip line since the shooting, while over 200 people have been interviewed, many of whom are students.

Authorities insist that no tip is too small, as they urge the public to come forward with any information that could be relevant to the case.
