Kirk was killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, with a gunman hitting him with a single shot in the neck from over 100 meters away. A suspect is in custody, having turned himself in on Friday.

The Steelers, who played host to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, kept their flag half-staffed during their flyover, much to the delight of fans on social media.
