Charlie Kirk’s Funeral Shows Unseen Footage Moments Before He Was Shot

Charlie Kirk‘s memorial has broadcast unseen footage from the day he was shot on campus at Utah Valley University.

People have gathered in their thousands to pay their respects at the State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, where Charlie Kirk’s funeral is currently being held (September 21).

The stadium has a capacity of 60,000, but many more are gathered outside having queued up for hours to pay tribute to the MAGA activist.

The memorial is open to the public, and funeral-goers were welcomed in on a first-come, first-served basis.

Several high-profile figures and politicians, including President Donald Trump, are in attendance.

But many will also take to the stage to honor the conservative activist.

President Trump will appear behind a bullet-proof screen to pay his respects, while Vice President JD Vance, a close friend of Kirk’s, will also speak at the memorial this evening.

Attendees will see heightened security measures put in place throughout the venue, likened to that of the Super Bowl, as an estimated $10 million has been spent to ensure the event is safe.

Many clips of Kirk participating in debates have been broadcast during the memorial, including videos from his podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, and previous interviews he had done.

But unseen moments from the day he died were also played, including the moment he arrived in his car at Utah Valley University to host the event on September 10.

The video also showed Kirk handing out MAGA hats to students in the crowd, as well as speaking to those in the first few rows.

The clip was cut short when he began to speak into the microphone.

Just moments later, while discussing gun violence with an audience member, he was shot dead by one bullet to the neck.

After a 33-hour manhunt following Kirk’s murder, the FBI revealed the identity of the alleged assassin on Friday (September 12) as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

Erica and their two young children were present at the time of the shooting.

She spoke out for the first time following her husband’s death just days after, alongside a series of pictures of her led beside his open casket.

During her statement, she said: “You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife; the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.

“Rest in the arms of our Lord, baby, as he blankets you with the words I know your heart always strived to hear – ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.’”

The mom-of-two is also set to speak tonight at his funeral, in honor of the 31-year-old.
