George Pickens had the internet in stitches after they heard his player intro on ‘Sunday Night Football’.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is on the Dallas Cowboys roster following an offseason trade. He lined up against the Green Bay Packers and Micah Parsons, his teammate for a few months before the latter requested a trade and was dealt to Sunday’s opponent.
Pickens, who’s earned an unserious reputation, claimed to be from “Drip University,” leading to rife reactions on X.
You can see them right below:
“George Pickens, drip university.” 😂” one post read.
“George Pickens, Drip University 🔥🔥🔥,” another read.
“Pickens Drip University 😭😭,” one account shared.
“When a players says they went to “Drip University” you know they’re losing,” someone joked.
“George Pickens, Drip University 🤣” another laughed.
“Did he really say drip university?” someone asked.
To be clear, Pickens did not attend Drip University. The school does not exist.
The wideout went to Georgia, where he won a national championship and scored a touchdown in the 2022 CFP national championship game against Alabama.
His constant nods to Drip University are playful and are thought to reflect his style and swagger.
