Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill had to be carted off the field during Monday night’s matchup against the New York Jets and taken to a local hospital after suffering what appeared to be a gruesome leg injury that he surely won’t be able to come back from in 2025.
In the third quarter, the Dolphins star hauled in a pass along the right sideline and was tackled by a defender who went low. Unfortunately, that tackle was awkward, and Hill’s leg appeared to twist underneath him as he grabbed for it immediately after the injury.
Hill was quickly loaded onto a cart and taken off the field while receiving applause from the crowd. He pumped the crowd up with his reaction as he got driven away.
In the back of Hard Rock Stadium, cameras caught Tyreek Hill being wheeled in a wheelchair. He appeared to be on his phone and attempting to contact his family.

This is one of those injuries for which you do not have to wait for the MRI to determine its severity.
Prior to exiting Monday night’s game against the Jets, Hill caught six passes for 67 yards.
