Caitlyn Jenner is one of the many celebrities who have voiced their opinions about the Algerian boxer Imane Khelif.
In a recent statement, the Internal Olympics Association announced that they would continue to let Khelif compete in the Olympics despite many calling for her disqualification.
“Every person has the right to practice sport without discrimination,” the IOC wrote. “All athletes participating in the boxing tournament of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 comply with the competition’s eligibility and entry regulations, as well as all applicable medical regulations set by the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit (PBU).
Jenner, however, disagreed with that ruling and was not afraid to let everyone know when she appeared on Fox News on Friday.

“Honestly, this issue has hurt the Olympic Games so much because everyone’s talking about it,” Jenner said.
“Shame on the IOC for not protecting the integrity of women’s sports, and shame on the IOC for not protecting the safety of women’s sports,” Jenner added.
Even though it has been confirmed that Khelif was born female, many still call for her to be removed due to having Swyer Syndrome, which causes her to have XY chromosomes.
Of course, as a fellow Olympic champion and transgender woman herself, a lot of people believe that Jenner has a very strong voice in this conversation.
Caitlyn Jenner Has Their Own History With The Olympics
Many are soon to forget that Jenner was an Olympic gold medalist before they underwent gender reassignment surgery.
In the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, Jenner won a gold medal in the men’s track and field decathlon and even broke the world record at the time.
It would be the only medal Jenner won in the two Olympic Games they participated in.
