Kylie Kelce broke down in tears in a heartbreaking moment while reliving the traumatic miscarriage she suffered in 2018.

The former field hockey star from Cabrini University met Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce on Tinder back in 2014. The two tied the knot in 2018 and have four daughters together; the youngest was born in March.

Last year, Kylie Kelce launched her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast and briefly overtook Joe Rogan’s controversial program as the No. 1 podcast on both Spotify and Apple. Jason and his younger brother, Travis Kelce, co-host the popular “New Heights” podcast that landed a nine-figure deal with Amazon’s Wondery last year.

During the latest episode of “Not Gonna Lie” (h/t Corinne Heller of E! News), Kylie Kelce broke down in tears as she relived the devastating miscarriage she experienced in 2018:

“I had had what you would refer to as a missed miscarriage. It means that your body did not realize that the pregnancy was no longer viable. The sh*tty part is that you still have the placenta, which means you’re still getting the hormones. And so you still feel like sh*t and you still feel like you’re pregnant. And you’re not.”

When Kylie went for a monitoring appointment after 13 weeks of pregnancy, she received the crushing news:

“They tried to do the doppler. It felt like everything went into slow motion, and they could not find the baby on the doppler. I remember being like, ‘Oh, there isn’t a heartbeat. You didn’t find one ’cause there isn’t one.’

They quickly took me into the ultrasound room and did a vaginal ultrasound. They confirmed that there was no heartbeat and they estimated that the baby had stopped developing between, I believe it was nine and 10 weeks. I called my mom and told her that I couldn’t tell Jason because it was his birthday. I did. It was very hard for both of us.”

The Kelces welcomed their first daughter, Wyatt, on October 2, 2019. Their second and third daughters, Elliotte and Bennett, were born in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Finnley, the fourth daughter, was born two years after Bennett.

Jason & Kylie Kelce Continue To Flourish In His Post-Playing Days

Jason Kelce announced his retirement after a phenomenal 13-year career in 2024, following the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.

Aside from co-hosting the mega podcast with Travis Kelce, Jason recently began his second season on ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” program. Kelce replaced Robert Griffin III on the show, though RG3 was recently hired by Fox Sports as a college football analyst.

Jason and Kylie will inevitably be in the spotlight a lot more as Travis and Taylor Swift get ready to tie the knot. The power couple announced their engagement via Instagram on Aug. 26.
