Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba earned himself an unsportsnamlike conduct penalty after scoring a touchdown against the Houston Texans on ‘Monday Night Football’ due to his wild celebration.
Jaxon scored Seattle’s second TD of the night, helping them to a 14-6 lead at halftime with five receptions for 60 yards and a score.
Once he got into the end zone and got the better of Derek Stingley Jr. He dunked the ball off the goalpoast, putting a ref on a poster in the process, marking yet another hilarious incident with an official after getting a death stare from one of them earlier in the season.
“JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA POSTERIZED THE REF. JSN got penalized for it and will definitely receive a huge fine. Worth every penny 🤣🤣🤣,” MLFootball’s tweet read.
“JSN dunked on the ref after his TD 😭😭,” another account shared.
“JSN put the ref on a poster. Bro’s hyped for NBA opening night,” one tweet read.
“Jaxon Smith-Njigba to the ref on that touchdown,” a fan posted, adding a Shaq GIF.
The move cost him the aforementioned penalty, with the Seahawks also giving up 15 yards as a result. But we doubt he’ll care too much, especially if his team holds on for the win.
