The Philadelphia Eagles’ Kelly Green promo put DeVonta Smith in an unwanted position ahead of their second clash with the New York Giants this season.
The Eagles lost to the Giants at MetLife Stadium two weeks ago and will have an opportunity for revenge this coming Sunday. Given the humiliation they were subjected to the last time, they probably couldn’t have picked a better week to wear the iconic throwback threads.
The Super Bowl champions are undefeated in Kelly green since they brought it back in 2023 and wore it in a division-clinching game against the Dallas Cowboys last season. They’re set to play all their NFC East rivals in the uniform this term, with games against the Cowboys (Week 12) and the Washington Commanders (Week 18) to follow their home outing against NY.
Eagles Show Off A Bit Too Much Of DeVonta Smith During Kelly Green Week
The champs have been flaunting their threads all week, but they had to delete one of their posts on Thursday. They used a photo of the wideout above that showed off too much of his package.
Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to delete something from the internet, and I’m sure Smith is regretting going viral recently after threatening a team security staffer for checking his girl out a few weeks ago.
Check him out below:
“I’m surprised the eagles don’t get a 12 men on the field call,” someone joked in the comments.
“is that what they call the bush push?” another quipped.
“This be some wild s**t I open Twitter and see this welp I think I can live a little longer,” wrote a third.
“That photo was hilarious, NGL! I save funny memes, and TBH, it works wonders for mood! What’s your go-to?” another comment read.
Meanwhile, Philly’s other star WR A.J. Brown hasn’t practiced this week due to a hamstring injury and could be unavailable on Sunday, leaving Smith with extra responsibility following his career-high 183-yard game against the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday.
