Mark Sanchez has called his last game for Fox Sports.

The writing was on the wall earlier this week when Fox Sports brought Drew Brees back on as its No. 3 game analyst, according to The Athletic. In that role, Brees is expected to work alongside play-by-play announcer Adam Amin, per the report.

Amin previously called games with Mark Sanchez until it all came to an end following his stabbing incident and subsequent arrest in Indianapolis last month.

On Friday, Fox announced that they were moving on from the former quarterback. According to TMZ, Fox confirmed that Sanchez is “no longer with the network.”

“We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network,” the network said in a statement to TMZ.

“There will be no further comment at this time.”

Mark Sanchez’s Behavior Led To His Own Downfall

Mark Sanchez is “done” at Fox Sports.

It all started when Sanchez was hospitalized and arrested after an incident in which he saw the former NFL quarterback get stabbed multiple times due to his own behavior.

In what was supposed to be a simple food delivery transaction, Sanchez allegedly attacked 69-year-old Peter Tole.

Released footage later showed the analyst walking on the sidewalk, clutching that area following a confrontation with Perry Tole.

Sanchez was arrested while in the hospital on allegations of battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication, all misdemeanors.

Aside from losing his job, Mark Sanchez and Fox have also been sued. The 69-year-old truck driver is suing Sanchez for assault/battery and FOX for negligent hiring, retention, and supervision.

Mark Sanchez’s final pretrial conference will be scheduled for December 2, just days before his jury trial on December 11.
