President Donald Trump Unleashes Unexpected Chant for US Marines in Jaw-Dropping Veterans Day Appearance on Pat McAfee Show [VIDEO]

President Donald Trump has been all about sports this week.

On Sunday, the leader of the free world showed up at Northwest Stadium to watch the Washington Commanders take on the Detroit Lions. Unfortunately for him, he was booed when his image appeared on the videoboard and when he was introduced at halftime.

Trump attempted to smile and wave after being met with a negative response, but the many Commanders fans were simply loud and flashing hand signs at him, and his face soon changed.

According to the AP, Trump left before the game was over.

His week of dealing with sports had just begun. ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” was being filmed live from the Marine Corps Depot at Parris Island, S.C., on Veterans Day, when President Donald Trump joined the program and discussed several topics.

On several occasions, McAfee asked the President to get the Marines riled up with their synonymous battle cry, which dates back to the 1950s.

After getting them to repeat the chant to welcome Donald Trump onto the show, McAfee said: ‘The new marines Mr President just “oorah’d” the hell out of you there.’

‘Mr President, have you ever done an “oorah” to a bunch of Marines? Mr President, why don’t you drop one, Mr. President, why don’t you drop an “oorah’ real quick?’ McAfee asked.

He finally did it at the end, which made the Marines do it right back to him.

Pat McAfee Doesn’t Regret Having Donald Trump on His Show

United States President Donald Trump made an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show on Veterans Day.

During the wide-ranging segment, Trump discussed topics ranging from college football and the NIL to the NFL’s new kickoff format, the Ryder Cup, and briefly touched on politics.

Not everybody liked that McAfee had Trump on the show, and he found himself getting backlash on social media. McAfee addressed viewers who might criticize the decision to host a sitting president on a sports talk show.

“I would like to say, though, for the media people that are going to be mad about that happening, that’s the President of the United States,” McAfee said.

“It’s Veterans Day. He’s the Commander-in-Chief. Obviously, if we’re going to have the opportunity to talk to him, we’re going to.”

McAfee further revealed that he reached out to former President Barack Obama to appear on the program in honor of the holiday.

“As soon as we found out this was an opportunity, I reached out to President Obama as well and his team to potentially come on,” he said. “Because of scheduling and conflicts, they were very kind and obviously sent incredible hope for the veterans and were thankful… but because of his schedule, he wasn’t able to do that. But I did reach out.”

Gotta love Pat and his show for staying viral.
