NFL fans aren’t exactly sold on the rumored new future Buffalo Bills uniform after photos were leaked on X.

Dave Myers, the founder of the popular “Built in Buffalo” media company, shared images of what many believe are the future Buffalo Bills uniform. Have a look at the rumored new jerseys for yourself:

Keep in mind that this merely speculation. The Bills have not themselves announced anything on new uniforms.

Nonetheless, football fans were far from amused on these jersey designs. Some noted that they look awfully similar the pewter-colored alternate jerseys that belong to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Blue and white have been the main Buffalo Bills’ uniform colors through their first 64 years of existence, with red also prominently featured. In 2015, the Bills revealed red color rush uniforms that they still wear on occasion.

NFL teams rarely drastically change their uniforms, and you hardly see them completely alter the coloring schemes. So if the Bills are planning to unveil these pewter-colored uniforms, they’ll presumably be alternate jerseys instead of the main home ones.

The Bills are slated to move into their brand new stadium (currently named “New Highmark Stadium” in 2026). So if there was an ideal time for the team to release a new uniform concept, that would be it.

Buffalo Bills Uniform Colors Should Stay The Same

As previously noted, NFL teams rarely decide to significantly change up the colors and designs of their uniforms. If you look through the history of all 32 teams, you’ll see that most of them have maintained the same color schemes.

The Bills’ main colors of blue, white and red have been embraced by the fanbase for over 60 years, so the organization should keep those together. if they were to ditch them entirely for the pewter-colored unis, you can expect widespread backlash from Bills Mafia.
