An old clip of Stefon Diggs appearing on the long-running and iconic American game show “Family Feud” has resurfaced.
On Tuesday, news emerged that Stefon Diggs was facing strangulation and assault charges. Diggs’ former personal chef alleges that he viciously attacked her after a payment dispute on Dec. 2. The veteran wide receiver denied the accusations.
With the Patriots preparing for their first postseason game in four years, there’s a legitimate possibility of Diggs getting suspended.
That’s not the only legal issue surrounding Diggs. Recently, influencer Aileen Lopera filed a paternity lawsuit against Diggs, claiming that he’s the father of her unborn child. But hey, don’t say Stefon Diggs didn’t warn you about all of this on “Family Feud” three years ago.
A few years ago, Diggs and other NFL stars appeared on “Family Feud”, hosted by comedian Steve Harvey. During the “Fast Money” round, Diggs was told to fill in the blank for “Leave it ____.”
His response? Let the audience reaction speak for itself.
Diggs has six kids, by the way.
Patriots Could Be In Trouble Without Stefon Diggs
As great as the Patriots have been under Mike Vrabel this year, there is one clear roster weakness. They lack a quality No. 2 pass-catcher outside of Diggs, who has 82 catches for 970 yards and four touchdowns, per Pro Football Reference.
Hunter Henry is second on the team with 712 yards. But if Diggs faces suspension, Henry emerges as the Patriots’ top pass-catching option. Meanwhile, Mack Hollins—who the team placed on injured reserve due to an abdomen injury—ranks third with 550 yards.
The Patriots knew that Diggs came with a lot of baggage when they signed him in free agency. We’ll see if it all comes back to bite them.
