Horrifying Footage Released Of Shooting At High School Hockey Game That Killed 2 People, Including One Young Girl [VIDEO]

A heartbreaking situation.

Two people are dead, and three others are nursing injuries following a tragic shooting incident at an ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on Monday.

The Mayor’s office relayed that two victims died after they were shot at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena during a high school game.

The Mayor’s office also reported that the shooter was dead and police are not looking for any suspects.

Meanwhile, they have not disclosed names and ages.

According to police, per FOX, the shooting stemmed from a family dispute. RAWSALERTS has since reported that the gunman shot his wife and two children before turning his weapon on himself.

Pawtucket Ice Rink Incident Livestreamed

Coventry-Johnston and St. Raphael, along with Providence Country Day-North Providence-North Smithfield, were competing in the co-op event.

“There was a horrific incident with an active shooter,” St. Raphael Providence said. “We have been told none of our SRA family was injured.”

Organizers were livestreaming the game at the time. You can hear clear gunshots in the video below:

Coventry’s superintendent said all of its students were accounted for and unharmed.

“We are aware of a serious reported incident at Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, where our Boys Hockey team was playing. Information is still developing, and we are actively working with event staff and local authorities to understand the situation,” they said.

They added:

“We have been informed that students are secured in multiple locations. At this time, we are still working to confirm the status and location of all individuals. Our priority is the safety of our students and staff, and we are moving as quickly as possible to gather accurate information.”

“We have confirmed that our Johnston High School student-athlete who was participating in the game is safe,” Johnston Public Schools said. “We are also aware of another Johnston student who was in attendance, and that student is safe as well. At this time, to the best of our knowledge, no Johnston High School students were harmed during this incident.”
