Success at the Olympics can vary from person to person, country to country. Adam Silver would probably be exiled to China. Smaller countries like Turkmenistan or Tonga are just happy to be there to soak in the experience and have fun. Someone from North Korea might be using the Olympics solely to channel their inner Michael Scofield and escape to freedom. Winners come in all different shapes and sizes at these games.

Then you have the lovely Canadian Alysha Newman, who clearly had her sights set on medaling. Being a 2018 gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games, she wanted to show up and come away with some hardware. Well, that dream became a reality today.
