The former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce made a direct remark about his wife, Kylie Kelce, days after he and his brother Travis Kelce criticized Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s contentious graduation speech.
On Monday, Jason clarified the truth about his wife’s position in their family on X, formerly Twitter. He was responding to a comment made by X user, who described Kylie as a “homemaker whose home is a mess.”
“I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife,” the father of three wrote. “I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can.”
Jason Kelce explained their marriage is a “partnership” and that he and Kylie are “equals who are figuring it out on the daily” as they raise their daughters.
He explained: “The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first. We both raise our kids, we both work, We both keep our home. It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with three young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks.”

Jason Kelce’s social media post follows Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s controversial comments about women in his speech at Benedictine College on May 11.
The NFL, Maria Shriver, Flavor Flav, and other celebrities have blasted Butker’s speech for his controversial remarks that women have been taught “diabolical lies” regarding topics like abortion, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and surrogacy.
During his commencement speech at the Courage Under Fire event in Nashville on May 24, Butker reiterated his points.
According to CNN, in response to his earlier speech, Butker said, “If it wasn’t clear that the timeless Catholic values are hated by many, it is now.”

Retired NFL star Jason Kelce is curious about what motivated seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady to subject himself to a brutal roast earlier this month.
The future Hall of Famer talked about Tom Brady’s decision to be roasted by former teammates and comedians with brother Travis on “The New Heights” podcast.
“It was pure entertainment, and I’m really happy they did it, but I just don’t get the roasts,” said Jason, who retired this offseason. “I don’t know why people do it. Maybe I take myself too seriously … It was star-studded. The best part about it was how many just iconic NFL and celebrities of immense stature that were there.
“Not to mention the entire Patriots dynasty showing up for Tom. That being said, I really don’t f–king get it. I don’t get why people do roasts. I don’t get why they are a thing. Haha, yeah, my family’s ruined, it’s so funny, everyone’s laughing, it’s great, we’re having fun, yeah right.’”
