Lamar Jackson is in need of a team to take a chance on him.
Jackson was waived due to injury on Monday, per Panthers.com.
It’s not what you think, as we are not speaking about the Baltimore Ravens quarterback but the Carolina Panthers cornerback.
Jackson, a third-year veteran from the University of Nebraska, was reportedly competing for a spot in Carolina’s secondary when he was injured and ultimately released by the team.

The Panthers waived Jackson with an injury designation after he sustained the undisclosed injury during Saturday’s 15-12 preseason loss to the Jets.
It has now left the 26-year-old without a team as the 2024 season gets closer.
The former Nebraska Huskers cornerback joined the Panthers this offseason after stints with the New York Jets, Chicago Bears, and Denver Broncos.
It’s been a tough road for the young player, as he went undrafted in 2020 before signing with the Jets.
He also spent an offseason with the Kansas City Chiefs prior to landing in Carolina.
Lamar Jackson Could Make His Way Back To Carolina
The Carolina Panthers waived cornerback Lamar Jackson with an injury designation.
The decision came after Jackson sustained an unfortunate injury during Saturday’s 15-12 preseason loss to the New York Jets.
His time with the team might not be over.
If Jackson goes unclaimed on waivers, he will revert to the Panthers’ injured reserve list and miss all of 2024 unless both sides reach an injury settlement at some point this year.
