Taylor Swift has responded to Donald Trump after he shared images and claimed she was endorsing him.
Trump shared an AI-generated image of the singer – hinting that he is a hit with the Swifties.
Trump wrote ‘I accept’ next to images of women wearing ‘Swifties for TRUMP’ shirts:
Two of the photos are allegedly legitimate, as reported by Wisconsin Right Now.
However, it seems there is not really a big Swifties following for Trump and the other photos are AI-made.
Trump seemingly doubled down on his alleged Swifties support by sharing a video of MAGA fan saying ‘Swifties were waking up’.
Swift herself has previously promised to ‘vote [him] out’ in the 2020 election.
In the past, the singer has been quiet on political matters but during the 2018 midterms, she shared support for Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper. She wrote on social media:
‘In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now.
‘I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.’
In 2020, she said:
‘I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election,’ she said. ‘Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs,’ she said in an interview with V Magazine ahead of the election.’
She also tagged the former president on X: ‘After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November.’
