Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Is Begging To Be Part Of Popular Upcoming Movie, Has Specific Role In Mind

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has big-screen aspirations and has revealed he’s desperate to be a part of an upcoming movie sequel.

Netflix has confirmed that ‘Happy Gilmore 2,’ starring Adam Sandler, is in the works and will eventually be released on the streaming platform.

There are rumors that Kelce could have a part in the movie, but the three-time Super Bowl winner isn’t aware of such himself, although he’s admitted he would do anything to be a part of the film and would play any role offered.

“I didn’t even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2, but if there is I’ll be a [freaking] extra,” he said during his ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Jason. “Anything I can do to get around Happy Gilmore or an Adam Sandler film or set, count me in.”

Travis Kelce is apparently serious about becoming an actor after his football career is over. He recently confirmed he will be featured in the FX TV series ‘Grotesquerie.’

Travis Kelce Has A Specific Role In Mind

While Travis Kelce knocked the conjecture suggesting he will be a part of the upcoming movie, he did tease that conspiracy theories could come true.

“Obviously been a huge fan of ‘the Sandman,’ but yes, this is exactly what it says it is: a conspiracy theory,” he said. “Who knows? Theories can come true. Theories can be true and just people don’t know about it. So I might even be in the talking [for the film] and nobody knows about it. But I could also not be in the talking so…”

He also discussed the roles he could play, and it seemed like they settled on Shooter McGavin’s caddie if he had one, although the Bob Barker role seemed a good fit too.

“I did just do a game show,” he added. “Maybe play the Bob Barker role?”

Jason didn’t think he could pull it off, though. “You’re not Bob Barker,” he asserted.

“Like I said,” Travis noted. “I’ll do anything in the movie. I’ll be a part of it any way I can.”
