Brittany Mahomes has hit back at those judging her political affiliation online as she’s been spotted liking a Donald Trump post on social media.
Brittany, married to Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, reacted to the online uproar on Friday with a post on her Instagram Story.
Initially, eagle eye Instagram users caught the soon-to-be mother of three liking a Trump post on 16 of his policies with his 26.3million followers, ranging from topics on immigration to the economy.
‘I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,’ Brittany said in response to criticism sparked by liberals.
‘There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well,’ she added.

Brittany isn’t the only high-profile NFL-affiliated personality to potentially endorse Trump, as the former President was spotted with two players on the Raiders on Friday.
Former NFL running back Herschel Walker, best remembered for his playing days on the Dallas Cowboys in the mid-to-late 1980’s, is also a Trump fan. Walker served as a co-chair on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition under the Trump administration.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa were blasted in March for hanging out with Trump at UFC 299, as well.
Brittany, who’s come under fire among the NFL fandom community in the past for being loud and obnoxious, was praised for her like on Trump’s post by the former President’s supporters on X.
She was also bashed by Democrat-leaning balloters, however.
‘Never thought I’d become a Brittany Mahomes fan but here we are,’ a right-leaning NFL fan joked.
‘She’s the worst,’ claimed another person, seemingly liberal, while someone else, presumably a MAGA supporter, chimed: ‘She knows politics better than she knows sports.’

NFL fans on X brought up the political contrast between Brittany and Taylor Swift – a Democrat
‘swifies vs mahomes is my superbowl,’ a different user shared, referring to the difference in political opinion between the popstar, her fanbase and Brittany.
Swift, who has yet to weigh in on the 2024 presidential election, is a well-known Democrat, having endorsed Joe Biden in 2020. The ‘You Belong With Me’ hitmaker has previously criticized Trump several times, too.
In 2018, Swift, who has had a demonstrable impact on voter registration in the past, endorsed Democrat candidates in her home state of Tennessee by posting on her Instagram: ‘I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights. I believe we all deserve in this country.’
Swift, however, did not attend the DNC in Chicago this week due to her touring obligations although her fans have already started to rally around US Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Waltz.
