Justin and Hailey Bieber have welcomed their first child, and the sweet significance behind their baby’s name has been revealed.
The joyful news was shared just hours after the 30-year-old singer and his 27-year-old wife announced the birth early Saturday morning.
Justin took to Instagram to share the happy moment, posting a picture of Hailey’s hands gently holding their newborn’s tiny feet, along with the caption: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”
In just a few hours, the post from the Grammy-winning artist has already garnered nearly 10 million likes from fans who are thrilled for the new parents.
“Omg my heart is melting, congrats,” one fan commented, while another added, “CONGRATS ON BEING A FATHER.”
Another follower wrote, “Welcome JACK BLUES… Wishing you a long & healthy life with your dad and mom. Congratulations, Justin and Hailey.” Hailey also shared the same photo on her Instagram Stories, adding the baby’s name along with a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.

Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, expressed her joy on X, tweeting: “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”
Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, echoed Pattie’s sentiment by re-sharing her tweet and adding, “Amen, Congratulations to you, and may God continue to bless our family.”
Many have noticed that “Jack” is the middle name of Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber, who split from Pattie when they were both 18 years old. Although Justin didn’t spend much time with his father during his childhood, they reconnected in his adult years and have since developed a close relationship, according to the Daily Mail.
Social media users have also pointed out that with the addition of baby Jack Blues, everyone on Justin’s side of the family shares a “JB” moniker: Jeremy Bieber, Justin Bieber, his sister Jazmyn Bieber, his younger brother Jaxon Bieber, and now his son, Jack Blues.
The couple first shared the news of their pregnancy in May 2024, making the announcement on Instagram.
Hailey posted a beautiful retro-style video of her and Justin renewing their vows. In the video, the Rhode Beauty founder wore a white lace maxi dress with a veil, highlighting her growing baby bump. She also shared several photos with Justin, including a close-up shot of him standing behind her, cradling her stomach.

Hailey has always been open about wanting children, telling ELLE in 2021 that she and Justin were always in agreement about starting a family. “We always knew that we were aligned on what we wanted in our future,” she said. “We had talked about wanting to be married young and having a family young and building a life. Even before we knew we wanted to be with each other.”
