BREAKING: Shannon Sharpe Hints At Next Job After Quitting ‘Undisputed’

Shannon Sharpe has revealed his break from television won’t be a long one following his departure from Undisputed last week.

The NFL Hall of Famer made his final appearance on the FS1 debate show last Tuesday following the culmination of the NBA Finals, vacating his seat opposite Skip Bayless after a seven-year run.

News of Sharpe getting set to leave said show broke on the last day of May, and it wasn’t a total surprise as it had become clear that there was some real-life friction between him and Bayless.

The three-time Super Bowl winner was noticeably absent from Undisputed after Bayless posted an ill-advised tweet the night Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest during an MNF game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Sharpe was also quite animated after Skip discredited his NFL career in defense of Tom Brady during an episode sometime after.

The 54-year-old has taken to social media on Monday to disclose that, while he’s enjoying his break, he’ll be back on morning television soon.

This seems to suggest that the erstwhile tight end could be set to join the cast of ESPN’s First Take or NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.

Stephen A. Smith has already publicly greenlit the possibility, and a daily debate between himself and Sharpe would make for must-see television.

Meanwhile, 11-year pro and two-time Super Bowl champion LeSean McCoy is rumored to be the one who takes over from Shannon at FS1.
