San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner suffered a gruesome nose injury during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, so of course he only missed a few snaps before getting back into the action.

Fred Warner injured his nose late in the first quarter of Sunday’s season opener while trying to tackle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet and was down for several moments. Fortunately, the heart and soul leader of San Fran’s defense avoided a serious injury and just needed to have his nose treated before returning to the field:

This is the play where Warner suffered the injury:

And judging by this bone-crunching hit he delivered on Kenneth Walker III, it certainly looks like Warner is pretty much at full strength:

Los Angeles Rams star wideout Puka Nacua also suffered what initially looked like a serious injury in the first half against the Houston Texans. Nacua was seen bleeding from his face, but the All-Pro receiver had the wound treated and returned to the field.

A four-time Pro Bowler, Fred Warner has spent his entire playing career with the 49ers.
