Elon Musk’s daughter has responded after he made a disturbing offer to Taylor Swift.
Musk has been slammed online after offering to give Swift a child.
The 53-year-old billionaire took to X (formerly Twitter) on September 11 to comment on Swift, just hours after she announced on Instagram her voting preferences.
The Grammy-winning artist posted a picture of herself with her cat, Benjamin Button, seemingly mocking Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance. Swift signed off her message with: “Childless Cat Lady.”

In response to Swift’s post, Musk, who has publicly backed Trump and Vance, wrote: “Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
This tweet just takes things to a whole new level of strange.
It’s not even eccentric at this point, just outright unsettling.

Musk’s post, which quickly went viral, sparked outrage online, with many finding the comment strange. “This tweet just takes things to a whole new level of strange. It’s not even eccentric at this point, just outright unsettling,” one person replied. Another user commented, “Elon responding to tonight by telling Taylor Swift he’ll impregnate her is peak weirdo and creeper behavior.”
One Twitter user referenced a recent slip by Trump, writing: “Cringe just called and asked you to stop, Leon,” after Trump accidentally called Musk “Leon” during a rally.
Others criticized Musk’s comment as inappropriate, especially in relation to Swift. One person remarked, “No offense, Elon Musk, but no self-respecting woman would agree to this, and I am certain Taylor Swift is a woman who may decide to have a child in the future with a man who truly loves her for who she is… And, yes… I am a Taylor Swift fan.”
Another added, “Buddy, if you wanna learn how to talk to women, I’m available. But I’ll write the contract, not your lawyers. Apparently, they have no idea how bad it is.”
“This is what you post when you have 197 million followers? Harris won the debate tonight, and now you want to give a child to Taylor Swift, who has no interest in you. Is that some sort of alpha male dominance thing to make you feel powerful and virile? Is it working??” a third user asked.
Musk’s own daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson has spoken out against her father. Vivian, who is transgender, wrote: “The timing for the Taylor Swift endorsement of Kamala Harris honestly could not have been better. Can’t wait to see the Swifties at the polls. Vote blue.
“Also, yes, I saw ‘the tweet’. Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense.
“I don’t really have anything to add to it, it’s just abhorrent. That much is obvious and if you don’t see how then you’re part of the problem.
“I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting, it’s belittling and incredibly sexist. You deserve better.”
Swift’s Instagram post came shortly after the presidential debate between Trump and Harris on Tuesday, where she officially endorsed the Democratic candidates.
“It really conjured up my fears around AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation,” Swift said. “It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
Swift has long been vocal about her political views and the significance of voting. In September 2023, she encouraged her US fans to get involved on National Voter Registration Day. “Are you registered to vote yet? I’ve been so lucky to see so many of you at my US shows recently,” she posted on Instagram, referencing her Eras Tour. “I’ve heard you raise your voices, and I know how powerful they are. Make sure you’re ready to use them in our elections this year.”
Shortly after, Vote.org reported record-breaking traffic to its website following Swift’s post. Nick Morrow, communications director for Vote.org, noted that after the “Anti-Hero” singer’s post, the site “was averaging 13,000 users every 30 minutes.”
