Fans are slamming Bears quarterback Caleb Williams after a video of him appearing disinterested in CJ Strouds postgame advice went viral on social media.
After Stroud and the Houston Texans bested Williams Bears on Sunday, the second-year player showcased some class by approaching the rookie in Chicago.
However, in a micd up clip of their interaction, Williams appeared to have no time or attention for Strouds pep talk.
Good job out there bro, Stroud says, placing his hand on Williams shoulder pad. Hey, stop taking those hits.
Yeah, I know, right? The rookie said robotically in a sarcastic tone before walking away.

However, the Texans quarterback was adamant about imparting wisdom to the newcomer. While Williams disinterest could be seen by the naked eye, Stroud remained persistent about giving his two cents.
Hey, learn… look, come here, Stroud said as Williams began tuning out and walking away. Learn from those mistakes. Everything you got bro, is in you already bro.
Youre gonna be a hell of a player in this league, Stroud closed, his hands hooked on Williams collar. Williams said Yup in response and disappeared out of the frame.
While he looked tuned out for the 15-second lecture, Williams showed his appreciation and thanked Stroud for reaching out. However, fans were unhappy with how the rookie acted in the interaction.
Caleb is an a******, one fan wrote. Gonna end up making Ryan Leaf look like Tom Brady.
And it’s that VERY arrogance why he will not succeed in the NFL. Caleb will be a bust, another suggested.
A third quipped that Williams was late for his nail appointment.
The 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year has led the Texans to a 2-0 start this year. In doing so, he handed Williams his first NFL loss after the Bears emerged victorious over Tennessee in Week 1.
Before they entered the league, Williams won the 2022 Heisman trophy over Stroud while playing for USC and Ohio State, respectively.
