The Miami Dolphins entered the 2024 season with championship aspirations, but those dreams are already on thin ice with star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on the injured reserve.
Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in the Miami Dolphins Week 2 home contest against the Buffalo Bills and was placed on the injured reserve, sidelining him for a minimum of four games.
After losing 31-10 to the Bills, the Tagovailoa-less Dolphins proved to be no match against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3. Miami mustered just three points in an ugly 24-3 loss that dropped them to 1-2 on the season.
And let’s say that going by the new get-in prices for the Miami Dolphins’ “Monday Night Football” home game against the Tennessee Titans, fans aren’t all that keen to cheer on their team without Tagovailoa.
Several fans on X/Twitter noticed that you can now buy tickets for the Dolphins-Titans contest for as low as $19. See for yourself:

The Miami Dolphins are the only team in the NFL to not hold a lead for a single second this season 😮

Never mind the low ticket prices. If they’re available for such cheap prices, the Miami Dolphins might be playing in front of many empty seats next Monday in a game that could make or break their season.
Dolphins backup QB Skylar Thompson is day-to-day with a rib injury he suffered in the loss to Seattle. The other quarterbacks on Miami’s roster are Tim Boyle (he had to finish out the game in Seattle) and Tyler Huntley.

You can’t clinch a playoff spot this early in the NFL season, but you can certainly play your way out of one. The Miami Dolphins are already two games out of first in the AFC South, so it’s imperative that they take advantage of this winnable showdown against a winless Titans team.
If the Dolphins fall to the Titans next Monday, they’ll be 1-3 with a much tougher slate of opponents on the schedule. Indeed, it’s a must-win game for Mike McDaniel’s group.
