As Davante Adams continues to wait for a resolution to his trade standoff with the Las Vegas Raiders, he decided to add to the rumors with one post.
On Instagram, the disgruntled wideout posted a simple picture of an American writer and poet, Edgar Allen Poe, on his story.
Poe famously once wrote, “Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”

That surely seems like Davante Adams is thinking of a trade to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Baltimore Ravens, known for their formidable running game, could transform their offense by acquiring Davante Adams.
The team started off rough, but Baltimore’s recent performance, including a dominant win against the Buffalo Bills, has reinvigorated hopes for a playoff push.
Adding a top wideout could give this Ravens squad what they need to get to the Super Bowl.
Adams, despite his age, remains a lethal threat on the field.
Just last year, he pulled in 103 catches for over 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns.
Two Top AFC Contenders Lurking For Davante Adams
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini previously reported that the Kansas City Chiefs will “monitor” talks for Adams, and the Buffalo Bills are “keeping an eye” on things with the Raiders.
Before that, she reported Adams’ preference is to be dealt to the New York Jets and reunite with Aaron Rodgers, with the New Orleans Saints also potentially involved in the situation.
Davante Adams’ preference is to be dealt to the Jets, per @DMRussini.
But don’t discount other teams — including the Saints and Chiefs — in trading for the star receiver.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said on Thursday that even though Adams’ preference is to play for the Jets, he is “open” to several other teams.
The Saints, Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys were cited as clubs that have either inquired about Adams or that he would like to play for.
The Raiders aren’t going to give away their best offensive player, so anybody who wants a top wideout needs to know they have to have a good package that works for both sides.
