The Oregon Duck has gone viral over his sign begging actress Sydney Sweeney to return his call.

The popular billed character began trending online after showing up behind ESPN’s Nick Saban, holding up a sign reading “SYDNEY SWEENEY CALL ME BACK” during ‘College GameDay’ on Saturday.

The show was on campus to join the buildup ahead of the weekend game pitting No. 2 vs. No. 3, with Ohio State set to roll in this evening. It provided some notable moments, with actress Kaitlin Olson claiming she lost her virginity at the college and the mascot going viral.

“You’ll never win if you never shoot your shot,” someone rightly pointed out.

“All time by the Duck!” another comment read.

“elite level,” someone wrote.

The Oregon Ducks Will Play Ohio State As A Big Ten Team For The First Time

Meanwhile, Oregon and Ohio State will enter Saturday’s game with identical 5-0 records and will be playing each other in a conference game for the first time since the former joined the Big Ten from the Pac-12.

They last played in 2021, with the Ducks winning that one 35-28 on the road, so the Buckeyes will be keen on revenge.

The result isn’t expected to keep either program out of the College Football Playoff this year, with the postseason expanded to accommodate 12 teams.
