It appears that Luigi Mangione has more than enough support on the outside as well as the inside since he has been accused of killing United HealthCare CEO Brian Thompson.

Prisoners at the State Correctional Institution Huntingdon in Pennsylvania, where Luigi Mangione is being held, seem to be in full support of the 26-year-old and what he is accused of doing.

Days after his apprehension ended a manhunt, the 26-year-old Mangione was sent to Pennsylvania’s State Correctional Institution Huntingdon.

He might be the most popular inmate in the building.

NewsNation’s Alex Caprariello and Ashleigh Banfield spoke exclusively with fellow inmates as they yelled from their cells during a live broadcast.

“Luigi’s conditions suck,” inmates shouted to NewsNation’s Caprariello.

“Free Luigi,” another inmate stated of Luigi Mangione.

Caprariello returned to the fence after inmates apparently said, “Tell Ashleigh Banfield that Luigi is watching at 10 o’clock.”

It was also revealed that Luigi Mangione doesn’t have a television in his cell.

“No!” several of them yelled out from their cell.

“They said ‘No,’ right?” Banfield asked him. “Obviously, we have a little bit of a delay, but they’re getting — yeah, they’re getting the questions, and they’re giving us the answers!

“Wow, this is quite something. This is the strangest interview I’ve ever conducted.”

Mangione is fighting extradition to New York, where he faces a second-degree murder charge in connection with the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s shooting death in Midtown Manhattan last week.

What Does Luigi Mangione Have While Locked Up?

Inmates at the Pennsylvania prison where Luigi Mangione is being held conducted a wild interview with a TV reporter outside as they spoke about his conditions.

Inmates watched the program on TV and answered questions Banfield posed from her studio desk.

The prisoners screamed “No” when asked if Mangione had a television in his cell.

According to NewsNation, Mangione has a cell to himself and is kept away from other inmates.

They also stated that his prison menu was “terrible,” including fruit, grits, scrambled eggs, and “porcupine meatballs” for lunch, a dish made from ground beef and rice.
